CHRISTMAS IS THE SEASON TO BE JOLLY!

Christmas time for all to continue giving thanks for all the blessings God has granted all year. Many have lost love one's, experienced birth of a new life to our families and many other events of our life cycles. Above all we  must find ways to be grateful and lift up our heads to the almighty.

 One thing that I find helpful is to think about the less fortunate. Many families are homeless from losing their jobs due the weak economy.

Yearly we see more organizations lending a helping hand giving to the Homeless foundation, Food Banks, Breast Cancer Society and Children's Foundations, just to name a few.  I made my contributions and when I see the families sitting down enjoying a warm meal, I feel good. My family wasn't able to contribute as much this year but, a small contribution can feed a few families.

IT'S A BEAR!

California is a beautiful place to live. Many attractions are within forty-five minutes drive. Traveling  to Alaska to see the White Polar Bears. California's wanting excitement seeing the wildlife would travel far to see wildlife. Many have settled in the High deserts area forcing the wildlife further away and searching for food..  Bears are traveling in the area's startling the residents.

Many living in these area's have found bears taking a swim in their pools and learning how to open the refrigerators helping themselves to food.

Camping Area

Nuisance bears -- those that raid dumpsters or bird feeders, for example -- can be tagged and relocated by wildlife officers before the bear becomes habituated to human food sources. If a tagged bear gets into trouble a second time, shows aggression just once, or kills livestock, it cannot be relocated and must be put down immediately. Relocating bears is an option that is becoming increasingly difficult as more people move to and recreate in California's outdoors. This week we watched a young bear that was tagged before. He was sedated and relocated. 

Words of Advise when camping

Everyone needs to be extra vigilant about removing food sources for bears around their homes and property, and don't let your guard down when you're camping. When you're away from your camp make sure it's clean and lock all food in a vehicle.

Halloween Suggestions

Halloween decisions for parents with girls that want to be sexy. My daughter asked me if she could be Nicki Minaj (female rapper) this year. After seeing Miley Cyrus on the VMAs, thought I should wait a few days before giving her an answer.

I began researching the who's, and what's for my child that liked to dress as Cinderella is growing up. I'm raising my second family at the age of sixty-two and times have changed from cute costumes to sexy. How far should we as parents allow our children to go with a changing society of twerking, shorter skirts and lower cleavage?

Dr. Busman believe that allowing our children to wear sexually provocative costumes is sending the message that is normal for them to dress like women and exhibit adult sexuality. Busman believe we should talk with our girls and explain to them why we think it is a inappropriate costume.

My daughter after telling her that I would let her dress up as Micki Minaj but, with some indiscretion  "she stated I know mom, it's a parent thing".
